As kids i'm sure there isn't one of us who didn't want to do this. But looks like you went ahead with it and did it! Awesome!

If you dont mind me asking why are you planning on putting in a 100cc engine first and then changing it to a 125? Wouldn't it be easier if you just went with the 125? It'll save you a fair bit of time/money/efforts in modifying the chassis to accommodate the new engine.

I presume you went with the single rear wheel configuration so that its easier to fit a motorcycle drive train. Am I right?

And like Komi says, we want updates on everything that happens with this..

Nice project! I myself was going crazy a couple of weeks ago over building a go-kart and I watched a series of YouTube videos on how to attend to various aspects of the machine as well. I bet this thread will give me some inspiration to start mine some day. :)

What about parts? I guess you'll be fabricating most of the suspension and steering parts, but wheels and tyres for exaple? Do we get them over here?

Good luck mate! keep the thread posted.

125cc engine story :- Dad got a Yamaha DT125 and he is not using it. he told me if i complete this project he will give it to me and i can do whatever i want with the engine and other parts. i will talk with him again and try to change his mind :)

watchman :- yeah single rear wheel will make it easy. and it will help to do some crazy donuts ;)

komi :- Bari nah :P money is the only problem. still studying and living with my parents. so i have very little amount of money for this project. :( but i'll try,

davy:- wanted to do everything by my self except lathe work. but i f***ed up with weldings and got some help from a guy near my house. for front im gonna use scooter or tuk tuk tyres. and for rear i will have to find ATV tyres.

thanks crosswind and nishan

I saw a DIY trike impounded at the Nugegoda courts when I was there last week. Looks like these are frowned upon by the local fuzz?

There is a guy who made a trike out of a red ducati cant remember his name on one of the local groups on fb maybe you can get some help from him or insight on how he did his build

Rhamzi used wheels and suspension off of a Focus RS if I remember right. Since most of the 'Busa is intact, it should be as safe as it was (if not a bit more) to ride.

Sandun dude, it's awesome to see you do this on your own. There are a few commercially built vehicles in this format which you may find some inspiration in. Look up the "Campagna T-Rex".
