High-Pressure Car Washer

Been using both, both are equally good, If I'd buy again I'd get a Karcher as there are agents and they do repairs as well. But be careful when using them as I messed up a few things on my vehicle.

Made a hole through the ac condenser in the hilux, it just ripped through the thin fins, cracked the plastic taillights in my Land Rover, dislodged a wiring harness from its clips, blew a grommet in the leaf recently, bought a replacement off ebay

Hold it at a distance of about a meter and you ll be fine

Hello Nimz77

Don't go for the Kar*her as it's got few factory faults which they don't bother fixing, most common issue with K2xx series leaking the water and that then it jammed the motor. So go for Bo*ch as we sell both and hardly we get complain about Bo*ch, I use the Stihl blaster and no issue for last 5 years. (Try find if possible)

I too endorse what JC said. One of friends who had two Kar*her units over the past few years for home use and both now packed up says it has reliability issues (Occasionally I shared his machines to wash my car). No idea about Bo*ch though. Whatever you buy make sure you get two nozzles - one with pulsating jet for under wash and another for body wash. When I once used the pulsating jet on the body of my previous car the rear window rubber beading got torn off. It must be a similar experience tiv explained above.

I use some Chinese mechine named as SKILL which says that they are a subsidiary of BOSCH.mentioned on the package though.

Price was 17k.

And it's quite powerful with 1400cc motor. Which generates adequate power to wash the car.it comes with a can for spray the shampoo and that's useless as it spray as small droplets but not as a foam.

I have been using for past 2 months and so far no reliability issues. Sharing with 3 cars and it doesn't have heating issues as I experienced on previous KRACHER.

I've been using a Einhell for last 8 years. washing 3 cars weekly.

Really a good machine. Serviced only three times during the period. Good after sales service at St. Anthony's.

I've heard that Black and Decker is also a good one.

Anyway in those machines the spray can be adjusted It is better to use a pistol type nozzle for the wheel arches.

Okay so I'm really a n0b when it comes to these things. People say they pressure damages parts. Is the pressure not adjustable? I downloaded the brochure for the Bosch units, and an illustration depicts a guy holding the nozzle like a foot away from the car. Do they all come with built in detergent mixer?

Ingredients mixer is standard part in some and optional accesory on some other brands. And that's useless and nowhere closer to applying by hand.

Pressure cannot be adjusted but the flow pattern can.so you can adjust the width of spray and get reasonable pressure on Wall.

The tiny ray like sray is the most powerful and does damage the parts if you are not so careful.

No adjustment in my ones, but I guess the nozzles control the output as per purpose

Guys anyone here use ingco? It's chines but seems solid.

My uncle bought down one few months back. I used it once to wash my car as well. Like you said seems solid..and 6 months warranty period is over now..he wash his Nissan Navara cab twice a week and no problems until now..Considering it's price around 13K, it's worth I presume. .

"All" the brands made in China
- B & D
- Makita
- BOSCH
- Ryobi
- Stihl
- Hilti
under license from the mother company's made for the specific standards and STIHL and Makita is made for Trade use than home use...... (you can run the tool all day with no issue)

I have been using Chinese make for over 6 years now (do not remember the brand). Heavy use - washing 03 vehicles, drains, tiled open area fish ponds, etc..etc..Only replaced the gun 3 times. No pressure drop at all. Bought from a street hardware shop, costing Rs.18,000.

(Two years ago, I carried a Karcehr all the way from here, hoping that the first machine will not last long. It is still unpacked. )

thanks..but bo*ch come with 6 months warranty.

- Depend on the Country and in NZ most of the products we have to give at least 1 year warranty, 6 month is kinda consumer guarantee act to me ....lol

Warranty always give a hint about the quality of the product
