  • Spareparts are relatively higher when compared to a japanese hatchback of that range.
  • More electronics that can go wrong than a jap of that year . so a road side mechanic wouldnt be able to sort out most stuff.
  • The cheap OBD scanners wont work . so you would have to pay someone to check for any fault codes
  • Comfortable than a Japanese car.
  • would me more economical on fuel when compared with a Japanese of that range because of the complicated electronic stuff

A Jap would be economical in maintenance and fuel combined. A Peugeot would be more comfy and would be economical on fuel but you would have to spend a little more on spares + u cannot abuse a peugeot and expect it to run like a slave . whereas a jap can be driven with doing the minimum basic maintenance.
