How to identify Automatic gear box issue

Dear Friends

I'm new to Automatic gear cars and last 10 years i used only manual cars. now i 'm looking for auto gear car. Recently i got Mazda Demio 201 and looks small issue with gear box. so now i really want to know how can i identify automatic gear box issues before buy a car. 

some issues appear when the engine cold. some of when kick down..etc

can you please advice

AFAIK following indicates a gearbox issue.

1. Unusual vibrations especially when quick acceleration.

2. Slipping 

3. Unusual roughness in shifting gears

4. Noises

5. Oil leaks

6. Delay gear engagement.

Sometimes it's a bit hard to detect at the earliest stage but it's better to get the car inspected from agent before buying. It wouldn't cost much but worth a lot. Even if you buy you know what to repair.
