Hey,

After all I decided to buy Proton Gen 2 and I am searching a good Car. If you know any place to look please lemme know.

Prefer Cherry RED/ Black/ Blue (other colors will consider too) It should be 2006 or after model.

Please let me know ASAP. What will be the best price for second hand Gen2 now?

Experts give me your suggestions to buy a GEN 2.

go for it man..provided you will use it for at least 3-4 years and not much bothered about the second hand value.

i would say 1.4 to 1.5 million would be the max you pay. and try to go for a 1.6l manual tranny. heard the 1.6 autobox is bit sluggish.

@charitha19 I didnt hv Mazda it was nissan n Leganza :) may be u hv mistaken dude.

I heard Proton Agent in SL is sucks but still I dunot have any experience with them. I found a guy who deal with Proton Parts :rolleyes:

IF you guys knw any place to look for GEN2 please PM me (send me a msg), cus GEN 2's hardly come for online ads :(

Hey... I bought my GEN 2 like 2 weeks back.. Campro 1.6L / manual / KG - xxxx / 2007 brand new bought it off the first owner for

Rs. 1.48 Mil..

I've been driving it for the last 2 weeks guess what it's superb car with lot of options and comfort.. I have no idea why people are scared to buy this awesome machine.. changes some parts they are freely available so don't worry go for it..

You will never find such a new car with style and comfort for Rs. 1.5 Mil.. Mine does about 10 km per ltr.

And the pulling is extreme.. I recently smoked a major new Honda ferio with absolute ease..

I thoroughly recommend this car for you.. =)

Awesome Dilly. Thanks a lot for the recommendation. If you knw any place to buy 2007 model please let me know (PM me). I found 2005 model for 1.475M but I dont think its good price since its 2005 model n Gen2 manufacture told there were some problem with that model.

So if anyone know any place to find GEN 2 lemme know soon Tkz

Weird. My dad takes it there for routine stuff, he's never said anything bad.

we had some bad experience with them... recently our car(Proton Waja) met with an accident & we put there for repair. Then after a few days they called my father & said one of their workers have taken our car outside and knocked it somewhere & the face has been damaged. so they told they're responsible for that damage & they'll bare the cost of fixing it. After everything has been done we went to take the car. but we are really unsatisfied with their job. they've painted well but still in some places it looks like the paint is shaded & the alignment of the body is not at all accurate. Again last week we went there to do the body lining perfectly & few other repairs. We would be getting our car tomorrow. i hope this time they've done it correctly..........

Since they've all the modern technology we thought they'll restore the vehicle back in original state but then we realized that its the same as putting into an ordinary garage. i dont know how these buggers are repairing Volvo's :action-smiley-060:

Ahhh. Bad luck there. For that sorta thing, CRC or Kenzo Auto Paint might serve you better. Agents are good for maintenance and part replacement.

But do let us know what the outcome is once you get the car back.

Yep, if your buying at-least go for 2006 model.. and a 1.6L manual.. and a K series.. Max pay Rs. 1.5 Mil..

And I'm telling you; you will not REGRET.. =)

i guess the brand new ones came here are 2006 and above

I nvr c any Proton Gen 2 on classifieds. So wonder how PG2 owners selling their cars? this is d reason I asked it here. Sorry dude, I have no place to check n not even HITADs
